
Dr David Hale, Orthopaedic Surgeon
Hip and Knee Subspecialist
David Hale is a well respected Orthopaedic Surgeon who has been practising on Sydney’s North Shore and the Blacktown region for twenty years. He sub-specialises in knee and hip surgery including arthroscopic knee surgery and hip and knee replacements.
After completing his training he undertook fellowships in hip and knee surgery including at Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Hospital Exeter, UK. with Professor Robin Ling.
He has a keen interest in research having presented regularly in both Australia and overseas and has memberships of a number of national and international associations and societies, and is a member of the Australian Knee Society.
David has a long standing interest in sport and sport related injuries as well as biomechanics.
He is currently The NSW State representative on the National Joint Replacement Register of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. The experience from committees such as this has added to his pre-existing interest and understanding of Orthopaedic prostheses and new procedures.
